7. Analysis tools, advertising and plugins

a) Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses what are known as “cookies”. These are text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

We have concluded a contract with Google for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:

An opt-out cookie is set to prevent your information from being collected on future visits to this site (this opt-out cookie only works in the browser you are using and only for this domain, if you delete your cookies in this browser, you will need to click this link again): Deactivate Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics uses user data, please refer to Google’s privacy policy:

b) Google AdWords and Google Conversion-Tracking

We use the services of Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (what are known as Google Adwords) on external websites. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. We pursue with it the interest to show you advertisement which is of interest for you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertising media are delivered by Google via what are known as “Ad Servers”. For this purpose we use Ad Server Cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google advertisement, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognise your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an AdWords customer’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer may recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was directed to that page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. On the basis of these evaluations, we can identify which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media, in particular we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the relevant part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider may find out and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in a number of ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular by suppressing third party cookies to prevent you from receiving advertisements from third parties; b) by disabling conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to block cookies from the “” domain,, which setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by disabling interest-based advertisements from advertisers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulatory campaign via the link, which setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanent deactivation in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome under the link We draw your attention to the fact that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this offer.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1) (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.

If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you can allow YouTube to directly associate your surfing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. In addition, YouTube may store various cookies on your device after you start a video. YouTube can use these cookies to obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve usability and prevent fraud.
